"Glory" light shining from dark clouds has always fascinated me. I had little time to capture this particular glory before the sun descended from behind the cloud, so I memorized the original position and caught the first view before it left me. Then I had time to paint the foreground cloud and the one behind. The trees came in as in anchor for the composition. Plein Air painting is always painting in its freest, most expressive form - and is a sheer joy for the artist!
